Goa Tourism Guidelines
- Earlier travelers had to carry COVID negative certificates tested within the last two days, or they will have to go through a mandatory check on entering the state.
- The ones who have been tested positive will either have to return back or quarantine in Goa itself till the further declaration of results.
- The Goa Tourism Departments has selected particular hotels, on which the travelers could get their pre-bookings done.
- Bookings in unapproved hotels will not be allowed.
- A self-declaration form must be filled up in the pre-booked hotel.
- Travelers with negative COVID certificates will not have to go through the Quarantine period.
- Tourists could enter the state through flights, trains which will stop only in particular stations like Madgaon, Thivim, and Vasco Da Gama or they might as well travel by road.
- All the tourists will go through thermal screening at every entry point of the state.
- Tourists who decide on Quarantining in Goa based on their positive COVID certificate will have to isolate themselves for two weeks in institutional centers.
Update as of September 1: Travelers no longer need to carry negative COVID reports while entering the state through land or air travel. Neither is the testing on arrival mandatory nor would you be asked to stay in quarantine. Except for beach-side shacks, several bars are also reopening in the state in September, following MHA guidelines. Along with Goa’s North Coastal Belt, beach shacks are likely to reopen from November as the tourism department continues the demarcation process.
